S/corporea is an exhibition dedicated to the human body, a body first dismembered and then recomposed. A body which presents itself in its parts and details, but which is also a whole and complete. Once again the source of inspiration are Koufonissi Beaches (Small Cyclades, Aegean Sea). The island of Keros as seen from Finikas is the subject of the installation Si viveva beati  (tr. “We used to live blissfully”, which is on display every day from dusk to dawn at gallerialanotte artepubblica/nowhere gallery). On the beach of Triti Paralìa,  also known as Italidés, Boob Moon by Giovanni Bai was born. This piece is the core around  which the exhibition has  grown.
While putting back together bits and pieces the result might not be the one we would expect, as Doctor Frankenstein taught us. But this achievement is not a monster just the same: this accrochage of works on a single wall by artists who represented the human body in its details is, on the contrary, a praise to the poetry of human beauty and diversity…
Only afterwards, the casual encounter at Beaubourg reminded us of Magritte’s L’evidence eternelle. This might well unconsciously have inspired the exhibition, and we declare it our inspiring Muse…
The Dis/Embodied human being will have Carlo Buzzi’s face, Dario Ghibaudo’s noses, Giovanni Bai’s breast, Giovanni Bianchini’s heart and Aronne Rota’s penis, Carolina Gozzini’s arms, Flavio Gallozzi’s hands, the legs of Veronique Champollion and the feet of Lucia Salvan and Museoteo+. And there will be more: ex-voto, ears, hands, photographs, Patrizio Raso's very hair and Camilla Cerea's Body Lanscapes. Special guests on the event will be Jochen Gerz, Jean Claude Lemalin, Orlan.
The exhibition will be open also on Sunday 19th of March 2017 from 15.00 to 20.00 in order to celebrate Giovanni Bai’s 65th birthday with performances and other surprising events.

On the occasion Museo Teo Artfanzine #39 will be released.
